Gillian Cooper

BIO

Gillian Cooper studied Art in Camberwell and Bristol, before moving to Cornwall in 1999.

Gillian makes monoprints, collographs and etchings exploring the overlooked in the Cornish landscape; wild flowers, birds and their nests.

These small to large scale works with their tactile, gestural hand-made marks, evidence her other specialisms in drawing and sculpture.

Gillian exhibits in Cornwall at Daisy Laing Gallery, Penzance, nationally and internationally and is a Penwith Society of Artists Associate, exhibiting at Penwith Gallery, St Ives.
