Sara Bevan

BIO

Sara Bevan was born in Walsall in 1967 and studied at Liverpool Polytechnic gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Fashion and Textiles, specialising in Printed Textiles. She now lives and works in Sennen near Lands End, specialising in printmaking and painting.


Sara makes painterly, unique monoprints, often monochrome, depicting the starkness of Cornish natural icons such as gorse hedges, farm tracks and birds on telephone wires stretching across the moors.


Sara exhibits and sells in galleries and art festivals throughout Cornwall. She is a member of Cornwall Crafts Association at Trelissick Gallery and a Penwith Society of Artists Associate, exhibiting at Penwith Gallery, St Ives.

At the old coastguard

Sara's work is on display at The Old Coastguard as part of our Trio of Printmakers exhibition. Displaying her work alongside that of Gillian Cooper and Graham Black.
